SNOWMOBILING

Welcome to the snowmobiling capital of New England…NH’s Great North Woods.

With over 700 miles of New Hampshire’s 7000+ mile trail system located here, snowmobile enthusiasts are sure to have a great experience.

Not to mention the amazing trails to also be found in VT…our friends and neighbors to the West.

Trails are groomed to perfection by local snowmobile clubs, which also maintain several warming huts on the trails.

And, thanks to our amazing North Country communities, snowmobilers get convenient access to restaurants, stores, gas stations and, in many cases, even their motel rooms and cabins.

Support and join a local club and save money on your registration.  In New Hampshire – Swift Diamond Riders, Colebrook Ski Bees, Pittsburg Ridge Runners and Umbagog Snowmobile Association. In VT look for Northeast Kingdom Snow Blasters and Canaan Border Riders.

SNOWSHOEING & CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

Don’t hibernate indoors all winter long…come on up to the Great North Woods for a snowshoeing or cross-country skiing adventure.

The North Country is home to tons of scenic hiking trails that can be hiked during the snow-covered winter months with snowshoes. Our miles of trails through remote wilderness and up scenic mountain peaks offer a rewarding experience without the crowds of the White Mountains.  You might even spot a moose or deer while you’re at it.

We invite you to also check out the trails at Mohawk Nordic Center and Coleman State Park both in Colebrook, NH.

Then, after all that warm up at one of our cozy lodges and great restaurants. Plan your trip today!
