About the North Country Chamber of Commerce

The North Country Chamber of Commerce works diligently with our members and community.

We encourage an open dialogue between the Chamber and our members. If you are having a problem or need help, let us know! We are working hard to bring recognition to our members in many ways.

We engage in community projects and planning from topics spanning workforce housing to once-in-a-lifetime events like the 2024 Total Eclipse.  We host events such as Ribbon Cuttings and Business After Hours. This allows networking with the community and other businesses. Please reach out to us if you’d like to host an event or would like our help promoting!

We have consistently grown our social media reach for both the community living here and the community looking to vacation here.  Our website and regional event calendar allows for members to shine with visitors and community members looking for information.

We offer connections, whether you’re looking for a new hire, a job, a grant opportunity, or a resource locally. Our Board has broad connections across our region and we love connecting people to make good things happen.

If you have questions on membership, contact any of our Board of Directors and we would be more than happy to answer them for you. We look forward to working with you!

What the Chamber does:

Information: For businesses: we can provide information that helps you accomplish your goals such as info we receive from BEA, BIA, NHES, CEDC, and others. For the community, we provide information on businesses, news, and events in the community. Are you looking for a service or lodging? We can help with that too.

Events: We host events and contests through out the year. Check our calendar page for more information for what we and other businesses and community groups in the area are doing.

Networking: We have an active Board of Directors who are always seeking new opportunities, members, and ways to help our community thrive. Through events like Businesses After Hours we love getting to network – if you’d like to host a BAH or similar event, please let us know.

Creativity: We often come up with some of our best collaborations and have the most impact when we think outside of the box. If you have information, an idea, event, or networking concept that you want to include us on, we’re all ears!

Community: New Hampshire’s North Country and the Northeast Kingdom of VT comprise a vast landscape and we have the task of representing all of our towns, member businesses, and community partners across the broad expanse. We are always seeking members and volunteers to represent the whole of our coverage area.
