2nd Annual Canaan Community Forest Poker Hike

Participants will start at the Sugar House to sign in, pick up a score sheet, and let the person at the registration table know if they will be doing the 1 or 3 mile hike. Each participant is given a score sheet which will be filled in as they progress along the route. Each time the participant passes a refreshment station, (5 times) they will draw a card at random and record the card on their score sheet. Participants will have the option to complete 10 Jumping Jacks at the end of their hike to change out one of their current cards. Once the hike is completed, turn in the completed score sheet at the Sugar House. The winners of this event are the participants who make the best five card poker hand. Prizes are awarded on the poker hand rankings outlined on the sheet participants are given at the start, not on speed. We want all participants to have fun and be safe, this is not a race!

There is no rain date this year. If it is raining, please still come up, get a poker hand, and enjoy some food and beverages! Remember, the trail may be slippery. Please wear appropriate footwear.
